GTS has provided staffing for long-term projects. These are integrated initiatives with requirements beyond arrangements for monthly individual workshops or an annual conference.

GTS is currently working with the Partners in Policymaking Program sponsored by the Minnesota Governor's Council on Development Disabilities and the Ramsey County League of Local Governments (RCLLG). The number of participants served differs dramatically depending upon the purpose and scope of the program. For example, the Partners in Policymaking Program involves recruiting a class of 35-45 participants who proceed as a cohort through the curriculum. RCLLG draws from communities in Ramsey County, averaging 30 per month.

You can rely on GTS for some or all of these additional services, depending on your project management needs:

• Convene representatiaves of the sponsoring and stakeholder organizations
• Staff the overall project team (or board of directors)
• Develop and monitor a comprehensive work plan and budget
• Provide full financial services as a fiscal agent (especially valuable for grant projects)
• Identify proven resources to tap for specialized tasks (such as video)
• Develop and implement a short-term and long-term evaluation process

Past projects have also involved producing curricula, manuals, videos, books. Additional tasks may include providing staff support to the association board, handling administrative functions such as a newsletter, producing a member or class directory, communicating with participants about follow-up assignments, coordinating multiple subcommittees or planning groups.
