TestimonialsHere's what past attendees have to say about the SymposiumWith training budgets reduced, the Minnesota Government IT Symposium is an excellent value. With over 100 sessions in numerous tracks, it addresses a
wide variety of topics at a very attractive price. If you have to pick one conference to attend, this is it. I've been attending the IT Symposium for years. No other conference offers such a rich, diverse mix of sessions, speakers, and opportunities as
the MN Government I.T. Symposium. The biggest problem I have is deciding which sessions to attend because there are so many good ones. I always
leave the conference with new knowledge, contacts and ideas. The Symposium is the best chance I have each year to learn from the experts about today’s technology offerings. With over 100 sessions and a huge
vendor exhibit, I'm able to get the information and resources I need to help me make better decisions back at the office. And, the ability to talk
with my peers and hear their experiences is worth its weight in gold. In an industry that is being asked to do more for less, Minnesota's Government IT Symposium provides IT and business professionals with an affordable
way to learn, collaborate and expand their knowledge base. Technology is constantly changing. Attending the Symposium gives staff the opportunity to
stay on top of what's current and to catch a glimpse of what's to come, so they can keep moving forward within their own organizations. I've been a presenter and attendee at numerous IT conferences for many years and the MN Government IT Symposium is my favorite. It's a chance to
meet, interact with, and learn from IT experts and peers, a chance I wouldn't otherwise get. I highly recommend the Symposium for advancing your
knowledge and your career. The Minnesota Government IT Symposium is the premier "knowledge transfer" venue for Minnesota's public sector. Attending this valuable conference
provides you with the tools to expand your knowledge base, network with peers and colleagues, and most importantly, learn what others are doing to
address common systemic concerns through the use of new technologies. The Symposium offers me a chance every year to think about my job in the larger context of improved tools, techniques, practices, vendor offerings
and areas of priority in Government IT. It's a brief and high-impact opportunity to expand my perspective so I don't get locked into thinking
there are only a couple ways of doing things. With training dollars tight, the IT Symposium provides a one-stop approach to obtaining a wealth of practical information on a variety of topics
without having to incur huge costs for travel and registration fees. Our State CIO endorses the Symposium and encourages agencies to send their people. I've been to many technology conferences (locally and nationally) over the years and find the MN Government IT Symposium to be the most beneficial.
The sessions are targeted to meet our needs and I’ve made valuable contacts with other colleagues from around the state as well as vendors. What's not to like about the Symposium? As a busy cube farm inhabitant, with few opportunities to go beyond the borders of my agency, I look
forward to the interactive learning that I find at this annual get-together. Networking with colleagues, checking out new technologies,
gathering new ideas, and a buffet to boot! I find the Symposium valuable because I always get new ideas when I see what other agencies/units of government are doing. It helps me keep up with
trends in IT and keeps me in touch with the vendor community. The Symposium gives me the opportunity to network with colleagues in other agencies. I
always feel refreshed and energized after attending the conference. The State and Local Government IT Symposium provides an annual forum for government IT employees to network with peers from other units-of-government
and to receive technology updates on services and products from the sponsoring vendor community. With over 100 sessions, the program includes a wide
range of topics. Best of all, with its variety of registration packages, there's an option that can meet any budget. The IT Symposium has provided me with the opportunity to connect with other professionals to discover new ways to solve new and existing problems.
It has been valuable because my investment of time and money has been paid back with comprehensive and timely information and access to colleagues who are
fighting through the same challenges within similar environments. The MN Government IT Symposium is a unique opportunity for government IT and business professionals to come together to share experiences and learn
more about the current issues that are shaping how we provide solutions for improving organizational performance in our work environment. This is a
premier event where, in today's economic climate, the value is clearly defined. |
