About the Symposium

Celebrating its 29th anniversary, the Minnesota Government IT Symposium provides Minnesota's public sector with up-to-date education, information and resources on the latest developments in IT trends, technologies, policies and standards, best practices, products and services. Over the course of three days, it provides an assortment of learning opportunities to meet the diverse needs of its attendees.

As the premier IT event for Minnesota's public sector, the IT Symposium typically draws over 1,500 attendees and exhibitors. 2010 Planning Process Underway

With representatives from state agencies, counties, cities, higher education and nonprofits, a 35-member statewide Planning Committee works throughout the summer to rate, discuss and analyze all presentation proposals submitted in order to seelct the topics for this year's program.

Final selection of presentations and speakers for this year's Symposium will be completed by mid September. Everyone who submitted a topic will be contacted by the end of September to let them know if their presentation was, or wasn't, selected.
