th 2011 ASSESSMENT CONFERENCE HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Please read the following notice below from the Minnesota Department of Education:
Dear Registrants of the Minnesota Assessment Conference:
The purpose of this notification is to inform you that the Minnesota Assessment Conference scheduled for August 4, 2011, has been cancelled.
The state government shutdown ended on July 21, 2011. While we were hopeful the shutdown would be brief and the conference would proceed as planned, trying to resume normal agency operations while simultaneously moving forward with conference planning under such tight time constraints would negatively impact our ability to provide a high quality assessment conference.
Registration fees will be fully refunded by GTS Educational Events (MDE’s conference coordinator) beginning the week of August 1, 2011. Questions concerning refunds should be directed to Carol Schoeneck (cschoeneck@mngts.org).
If you have made overnight reservations at the Radisson Hotel Roseville in connection with this event, please note that cancellations must be received by the hotel (651-636-4567) no later than 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3. If cancellations are not received by that time, you will be responsible for the entire room cost.We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause and we thank you for your patience. We look forward to serving you in the future, and to a successful conference in 2012.
