The State of Reading Well by Third Grade
This session supports districts and charters as they work to meet the 3rd grade reading component of Minnesota's laws for improvement of instruction and curriculum (World's Best Workforce) and reading intervention (Read Well by Third Grade) within a standards-based education system. This session will provide: discussion of new requirements from recent legislative sessions, access and use of available guidance and resources, including many exciting tools available for the first time - evidence-based practice lists, a Local Literacy Plan template, and the Minnesota Standards Portal. This session will include opportunities for Q and A.
