The A+ Education Conference strives to inspire education professionals to transform systems and practice for the success of ALL students by making student assessment relevant and meaningful.
The 2018 A+ Education Conference is focused on Transforming Learning. Learning is at the heart of education. Transforming learning requires students and educators to see themselves as learners and discover new ways to "learn to learn". The 2018 A+ Education Conference seeks to support this effort by offering content, dialogue and resources that will enhance learning across educational settings and functions, and lead to improvements in learning outcomes.
The Conference is an annual opportunity for practitioners, leaders and stakeholders within the state's education community to come together to advance learning and share best practices.
In this funny and extremely relevant keynote address, Garth Larson will ask participants to examine the choices they make daily. This includes our daily choices as members of society, but more importantly the choices we make that impact our students every day. Garth will ask participants to examine if they are consistently making choices that reflect their commitment to learning for ALL students and then provide five recommendations on choices we should consider as educators. Humorous life choices will be shared, along with relevant school related choices that educators have made leading to a positive impact on learning for the students they serve. Participants will leave this keynote excited about the profession they chose and focused on the choices they will make to better impact learning in the coming school year.
Garth Larson, is personally inviting you to attend the A+ Education Conference on August 9 at the Saint Paul RiverCentre. Watch as Garth explains just what he has in store for you at the Conference.
